List of “model organisms” regularly updated in Repository

The proteomes of the following organisms are regularly updated in SWISS-MODEL Repository. A reference proteome is the complete proteome of a representative, well-studied model organism or an organism of interest for biomedical research. Reference proteomes are retrieved from the UniProt database.

Statistics based on UniProt release 2013_03

The current release of the SWISS-MODEL Repository consists of 3143784 model entries for 2286870 unique sequences in the UniProt database (2013_03). In the last update cycle (2013-05-21) 95718 unique sequences were considered for revision. See the [release notes] of the last updates.

NOTE: The SWISS-MODEL repository contains theoretically calculated models, which may contain significant errors.
