List of model organisms regularly updated in Repository

The proteomes of the following organisms are regularly updated in SWISS-MODEL Repository. A reference proteome is the complete proteome of a representative, well-studied model organism or an organism of interest for biomedical research. Reference proteomes are retrieved from the UniProt database.

Statistics based on UniProt release 2015_01

The current release of the SWISS-MODEL Repository consists of 3179010 model entries for 2303430 unique sequences in the UniProt database (2015_01). In the last update cycle (2015-01-07) 7220 unique sequences were considered for revision. See the [release notes] of the last updates.

NOTE: The SWISS-MODEL repository contains theoretically calculated models, which may contain significant errors.
